Bon Iver showed me his new tattoo. It is a tiny sparrow whose heart is exposed, and within the heart is a map of the world showing every place we’ve been together, and in every place we’ve been together is a tiny perfect rendition of us with our bodies entwined. He did the tattoo himself.

Always always always reblog. One of my students in the enrichment class I teach tried to give me the “well the Bible says being gay is wrong” line. I was like, “It also says shrimp, tattoos and mixed fabrics are forbidden, so unless you’re not planning on ever doing those things, you’re being hypocritical.” (I rocked his 12-year-old mind.)
